We have been working in the technology sectors since the mid-1980s. Our origin as The Cranfield Information Technology Institute was partially funded by BT and Cable and Wireless, and we were later briefly owned by CSC.
Since becoming an independent company in 1993, we have worked with the BBC, BT Group, Codemasters, Orange, RM, and Toshiba, to mention but a few.
The increasing pace of technological change introduces its own challenges and many organisations are suppliers or systems integrators in increasingly complex value structures. The drive for operational efficiencies is increasing, while the need to innovate is paramount.
We worked with CITI to deliver real improvements in our practices across the business; we know the CITI approach works because our managers deliver results.

Technology industries, in particular, are susceptible to rapid changes, with the need to remain highly responsive even at times of sustained growth and market leadership. Eastman Kodak, with its filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in January 2012, presents a most spectacular, recent example of an organisation’s leadership not embracing technological change, with disastrous results.
When Orange embarked on a major change initiative to integrate web-based, mobile phone and digital TV chat under the Orange World brand, we supported them to overcome major organisational design issues, while at the same time ensuring the delivery of value through ‘quick wins’.
