Value for money, modernised public services, public choice, sustainable change, safety and security; these are all watchwords for today’s government organisations.  CITI has been supporting local and central public service organisations since 1989 and is proud to be helping to make these important initiatives and guiding principles a reality.

Organisations we have supported include Bank of England,  DWP, FSA, GCHQ,  Highways Agency, HMGCC, Home Office, MOD, Met Office, police forces that include the Metropolitan Police Force, Prison Service, Remploy, local authorities and borough councils, and universities and colleges.

While these organisations share a number of challenges as public funded organisations, each has its own unique challenges that derive from its strategy, leadership, culture and environment.

Over the years we have supported many exciting initiatives such as the BIA (now UKBA) managed migration programme which saw, among other benefits, the successful introduction of e-borders and the points system, helping to ensure that the UK attracts and retains the right skills to maintain a strong economy and capable workforce.  We worked with the executive to structure the change programme, ensuring the sequencing of the constituent projects optimised the interdependency management requirements of a complex and wide portfolio, and that the planned benefits, were achievable, and achieved.

Our support to Remploy, in developing their capability to carry out their modernisation programme, led to them winning the Association for Project Management’s Programme of the Year Award in 2009.

We are very pleased to have won this prestigious award.  It is recognition of the hard work that was put in by all those at Remploy and CITI.
