Having originally been established, in 1984, as the first profit-making, tertiary education institute in the UK, we understand the challenge of providing education services that are both first-class, affordable and competitive.
Today, as a private company, we still have strong links to universities, providing expertise in postgraduate degree programmes, as visiting lecturers and professors, and strategic change management consultancy to vice chancellors and their leadership teams.
When Sheffield Hallam University wanted to ‘stand out from the rest’ the vice-chancellor championed a major change initiative, the implementation of which was led by the chief information officer, who asked CITI to provide support to ensure success.
Our involvement was with the executive team, those responsible for delivering the change, and those who were leading the adoption of the change.
When the OU wanted to transform its business-to-business marketing and sales it turned to partnering with CITI. We supported them in articulating their vision and determining what needed to change and how to achieve it. As well, we transferred skills and capability to key personnel to ensure success could be achieved through appropriate change governance, business adoption and delivery.
