CITI is proud to be a long-standing partner to many organisations in this sector, dating back to the electrification of the East Coast Main Line, which was completed in 1990.
Much of the work we have done in this sector is concerned with helping business leaders ensure the delivery of value from the huge investments made by their organisations. From developing their ability to structure investment portfolios and individual business cases, through to the development of delivery capability, providing role models and assuring delivery, we have supported organisations to be more effective at change at a time of rapid growth and increased competition.
Organisations we have or are working with include AmeyColas, BAA, Balfour Beattie Rail, EC Harris, Eurostar, Highways Agency, HSBC Rail, NATS, and Network Rail.
We helped Eurostar to transform its capability to manage change, which led, in 2008, to Eurostar receiving the Association for Project Management’s Programme of the Year Award for High Speed One.
We worked with CITI to review and strengthen our change capability. Up until this exercise we had a history of many late and over budget initiatives, that were not delivering the expected benefits. There is no doubt in my mind that CITI was the catalyst that helped us achieve a step change in our capability and performance.
CEO, Eurostar
