Having worked with leading retailers for the last fifteen years, including Homebase, John Lewis, Littlewoods, Marks and Spencer, and Tesco, we understand the challenges retailers face. Even in the most buoyant economies, competition on the high street means that the supply chain has to be efficient and the level of service impeccable. With recent economic developments affecting the retail sector, the quest for improved operational effectiveness has reached new heights.
It is no longer enough to have your ‘shop front’ well-merchandised; shoppers are online and looking for the quickest and most efficient shopping experience available. It was changes caused by technology, alternative purchasing channels and John Lewis’s own drive in the vanguard of influential retailers that required it to become increasingly better at managing change. Something we have helped it to achieve.
For Diageo, the world’s leading premium drinks business, it was a need to overhaul, reorganise and standardise its processes in a global business with local cultures which led them to working with us. We supported them to successfully map out the new way of operating and how to get there through an achievable change journey.
