Hilary uses his considerable expertise to support our clients in translating their strategies into achievable actions, including optimising their change portfolios and structuring projects and programmes.
Hilary’s change management experience spans 25 years across a number of sectors, both in the UK and overseas. He has also worked in consultancy roles, principally in the UK and USA. His first exposure to project management came from significant regulatory change in the insurance industry, while his programme management experience was initially related to major acquisitions.
More recently, Hilary has provided organisational development support to clients in constructing career paths and development frameworks for those involved in change, particularly project and programme managers. Elements have included the analysis of client roles, responsibilities, skills and competencies.
Hilary’s primary outside interest was acquired from his father, who taught him bell ringing in his youth. Hilary has been a regular bell ringer at St Paul’s Cathedral in London since the early 1990s. He is a keen gardener and has been known to turn his hand to house renovation.
