Chris has spent his career supporting organisations to improve their delivery capability, both as a role model and as an inspirational tutor. His ability to lead from the front is shown by the roles he has filled as senior programme and portfolio director in both the consultancy and finance sectors. He is an expert in risk and commercial management, the development and implementation of standards and procedures, and in practice management.
Building on his many years of practical experience, Chris now focuses on developing, to a high standard, the skills of others in project, programme and PPSO management.
Chris is also involved in the assurance of delivery in change initiatives. He performs project health checks as part of his personal coaching for senior project managers, which means our clients get immediate payback in improving change delivery.
Chris is dedicated to improving professionalism in the delivery side of change. He is CITI’s lead assessor for the Association for Project Management’s (APM’s) Practitioner Qualification (PQ) and chairs the APM’s PQ panel. He is also an MSP® assessor and is a member of APMG’s MSP steering board. For a number of years, Chris was the APM representative on the PRINCE2® Steering Group and also was chairman of ISEB’s Project Management Examination Board.
His interests outside work include motorsport (where he is chairman of the British Motorsports Marshals Club, a senior official at many motorsports events, and sits on numerous committees at the Motor Sports Association), motorcycling (enjoying touring around the world) and photography.
