Peter has many years experience as a senior programme manager, project manager, programme office manager, bid and business manager and business/information systems consultant . He has worked with CITI for many years. Peter has in-depth practical expertise in programmes and project management from initiation, including tendering (both supply and demand chains), through to final deployment and benefit realisation.

Peter’s particular area of expertise is the management of large complex programmes and projects with an emphasis on high profile, high risk undertakings. These range from ‘rescue’ missions to management of initiatives through the full lifecycle. He has had responsibility for budgets up to £24m and has managed business and technical teams up to 150, reporting to board level in major (FTSE 100) public companies.

Peter is an associate assessor of project managers for a number of organisations and has published guidelines on practical project management. In the area of business consultancy, he has published papers on ‘Benefits Analysis & Realisation’ and ‘Managing Business Change in the Modern Corporation’.

When he has time (!) Peter has a wide variety of activities including downhill / alpine skiing, travelling in Europe, America and the Far East, music, motor-cycle racing and the theatre.
