Recognising that implementing successful change requires a systemic approach, we ‘cut’ the change diamond to match the culture of each of our clients, to help them to undertake a complete change journey from inception to embedding the change so that the benefits are realised. - Make it wanted– assessing their change readiness, creating the change vision, mobilising the right governance structures for managing the change, gaining commitment from the receivers of the change
- Make it happen– through the right delivery vehicles driven by business needs and ensuring that the business is ready and able to adopt the change products to deliver real value, and to ensure that leadership is put in the hands of the most able

The change diamond is not limited to use on a complete change journey. We have, for example, used it with clients to assess their organisational change capability. The structure of the diamond has allowed us to build up profiles of organisational change capability, so that we can assess an organisation in terms of the do-ability of its change initiatives as well as helping them in assessing the desirability of each initiative. Together, we have taken this to the level of reviewing the complete change portfolio for clients to help them better balance the implementation of their strategy.
