International students
We welcome students from overseas; however, international students should carefully consider whether the course is right for them, bearing the following points in mind:
- the course is part-time only
- there are 21 compulsory contact teaching days which take place in the UK and are scheduled at various points over the (minimum) two years of the course, grouped into blocks of 2-4 days at a time. There will also be several one-day workshops to attend – these are not compulsory but students find them very useful.
- we are not able to advise on visa applications. Some international applicants have found it very difficult to obtain a visa for attending this course because of its structure, and you should make your own enquiries.
- the cost of the course (£12,850 sterling) does not include travel, accommodation, subsistence or any other expenses relating to the cost of attending the contact teaching days.
- Sponsorships and bursaries are currently not available for this course. Useful information on finding finance for study is available from the University's website:

Proof of English language competency is required from all EU and international applicants. The minimum IELTS level accepted by Middlesex University is 6.5 or a TOEFL grade of 575 (paper-based test) or 237 (computer-based test). If your degree was taught in English you should obtain an official letter from your University to certify this and send it with your application. We would require the original letter, not a photocopy or a scan.
If you have any questions regarding applying as an international student please email ncpm@mdx.ac.uk.
