Aim and approach
The aim of the MSc Managing Major Projects and Programmes is to develop change professionals who are qualified to manage the most complex programmes, skilled enough to run cross-discipline business and technical projects, and expert in the politics and processes of change.
As a graduate of the MSc, you will be one of your organisation’s most capable managers, understanding how best to address the challenges required to successfully manage complex change initiatives or develop major products — things that your organisation depends on for its future success.
The MSc seeks to advance your skills, competences, attitudes and behaviours to an advanced professional level. The overall programme objective is that diplomates and graduates can clearly act as better change, project and programme managers, through reflecting on how they can integrate what they have learned in solving the challenges faced by their organisations.
The MSc is designed as a part-time programme, with contact and e-learning components, that allows you to integrate the course with your work. All assessment is through work-based assignments and a dissertation that is focused on your own change initiatives or major product developments. This allows both you and your organisation to benefit from the very start.
All contact teaching is led by experts from CITI, each of whom has at least fifteen years' experience and a passion for teaching what they know. Many serve on professional and academic bodies as leaders in their field.
