Frequently asked questions

Most industry accreditations are tests of knowledge; learn the book and pass the exam.  There are multiple valuable reasons to do this; they teach a common language, a recognised accreditation improves your CV, you appear more ‘qualified’.  What they don’t teach you, however, is judgement in the application of that knowledge – this only comes from experience.

CITI’s beyond method courses and specialist workshops are complementary to accredited courses and use experiential learning approaches that allow you to practice application of the knowledge you’ve learned, and take that experience back into the workplace. If you would like to know more about how these different kinds of courses go hand-in-hand to make you more qualified and enhance your capability please talk to us.
