This conference providede an opportunity to find out about the reviewing processes of other organisations. By listening to the views of experts, narration of successful practices, networking and discussing with peers, participants were able to improve their knowledge management and a strategy and tactics of management processes.

Christopher Hodson, CITI Principal Consultant, explored the tools the project manager has to develop an effective resource plan, and the value that clear roles and responsibilities have in meeting the project’s time, cost and quality criteria. ‘Who does what’ underpins the governance model of projects.

Getting the right person to do the right things at the right time is the real purpose of resource planning. Done early on in the project planning process, the project manager retains control, done late the resources determine the project strategy.
