CITI addresses this issue directly. We have a pool of qualified project manager consultants who are first profiled using our world-class profiling tools. If their profile matches they are placed on an accreditation programme, that can take up to 5 months, during which their approach, use of tools, application of models and skills in the more advanced aspects of project management are augmented and evaluated. If they gain accreditation, they become a partner of CITI, and are supported in-post with tools, models and training, guided by a project director at CITI, who acts as a conduit into the pool of expertise and the CITI body of knowledge. We use the profiling results and information gained during their accreditation to identify the types of projects or programmes they are safe to manage.
