This course is for project managers who are learning on-the-job. It provides them with a complete set of techniques and tools to run projects successfully. The course is a structured, action-oriented course using real cases, realistic exercises and group discussions. It shows how the application of a disciplined approach, to the running of projects, significantly reduces the risk of failure. As a result of attending the course, project managers can plan more effectively, focus on project achievement, and use estimating and monitoring techniques that are appropriate to their project.

qualification - APM Practitioner

 

This Association for Project Management experience-based assessment is for project managers who are managing projects or who run a key control function of a large project.

A candidate's ability to apply knowledge and experience against 30 criteria is evaluated. Assessors collect evidence by observing candidates discussing and solving problems relating to a project through an interview and a written examination.

accreditation - PRINCE2TM to practitioner level

The course teaches project managers the PRINCE2TM methodology to both foundation and practitioner level. Following the course you will be able to explain how the PRINCE2TM process model fits together, explain the context and main function of each process, explain the main ideas underlying each component, explain the uses of each component and use the techniques described in PRINCE2TM.
