Monitoring and control using earned value management
This course is for project managers with several years experience. They typically will have, or will be about to have, responsibility for earned value management within organisations. They will have responsibility for controlling the project, project productivity and team productivity as well as the monitoring and communication of progress.
What are the course objectives?
The course provides a comprehensive introduction and practical application of earned value analysis and management. Delegates will learn to understand the project mission and translate it into products, outcomes and benefits and the need for measurement. They will explore product breakdown structures and how they relate to the project mission and EVA.
What content is covered?
Typically the content will be customised to the clients need. However, in general our clients choose to cover a selection of the following modules.

What is the course format?
This course is challenging. It is tutor led with case work and exercises to reinforce the concepts discussed. The discussions focus on real live projects and application to current work. The presenters use their extensive earned value management experience to illustrate and put into context the concepts and techniques and ample time is provided for discussions on how best practice may be applied in the delegates own environments.

This is a two day course.
