2009 CofEe Club - Stakeholder engagement

Dates:
26 February 2009
Times:
10:30 to 16:00
Venue:
RWEnpower, Swindon

The fifteenth meeting of CITI’s Centres of Excellence Club was hosted by RWEnpower at their office in Swindon on 26th February 2009.

The topic for the meeting was stakeholder engagement. Thomas Docker of CITI set the scene followed by a presentation from RWE's Portfolio Maintenance Strategy Coordinator, who provided information on our kind hosts.

In our first case study RWEnpower, discussed openly RWEnpower’s stakeholder management approach and challenges in its ‘fit for future’ programme.

Stephen Jenner, Director, Criminal Justice IT, provided an interesting view on three perspectives of stakeholder engagement. This was followed by an insight from Bernard Murray-Gates, Principal Consultant, CITI, into corporate stakeholder engagement and the case for action.

A number of exercises and workshops explored this topic. Access to all presentations, workshop outputs and papers are available to CofEe Club members via the online Linkedin forum.
