2005 CofEe Club - Development frameworks

Dates:
22 September 2005
Venue:
GCHQ, Cheltenham

At the fourth meeting of CITI’s Centres of Excellence Club, held at GCHQ, the topic for the day was development frameworks.

The event discussion was around the experiences of two different organisations in setting up and running development frameworks, and on the benefits of having a structured framework within which their project management community could grow.

Thomas Docker of CITI, Keith Snelling of BAE Systems, and Steve Jones of GCHQ led the discussions.

Thomas set the scene and posed a few questions for club members to consider.  Steve gave a short talk on project and programme manager development within GCHQ, and provided some background information on our kind hosts.

Keith’s focus was on BAE Systems Corporate Project Management Council, how this led to the Centre for Project Excellence and its role in capability development.

A number of exercises and workshops explored this topic. Access to all presentations, workshop outputs and papers are available to CofEe Club members via the online Linkedin forum.
