healthchecks
This is a facilitated
workshop where a project is examined with the project manager
and team. It reinforces and promotes the integrated application
of the best practices learned and sets the standard of performance
for project management within the organisation. As such, it
is a significant contributor to the changes in behaviours and
attitudes required to create the very best project managers. |

strategic
implementation planning
The
only reason an organisation should run a programme of change
is to achieve business benefit. While benefits can come in a
number of forms, both tangible and intangible, it is imperative
that the organisation is clear at the outset what specific benefits
it is aiming to realise. CITI's implementation support team
uses a four-stage approach to planning
and scoping programmes of major change. |

coaching
Coaching
can come in many forms and be delivered through many
approaches. The key to selecting the right form and approach
is in appropriate up-front discovery. It is essential that
the needs of the individual and the environment (the types
of projects or programmes) are understood to help the coach
decide upon the best approach, the form of coaching, the intervention
expectations and a set of key goals for the individual and
their organisation.

gateway
reviews
Acquisition
programmes and procurement projects in central civil government
are subject to OGC Gateway Reviews. The OGC Gateway Process
examines a programme or project at critical stages in its lifecycle
to provide assurance that it can progress successfully to the
next stage; the process is based on well-proven techniques that
lead to more effective delivery of benefits together with more
predictable costs and outcomes. |

project
initiation workshop
Most
project failures are caused by poor definition at the intiation
stage. These workshops
are designed around the CITI hourglass model and force project
managers and sponsors to clarify the problem, objective, benefits
and products for a project. This two day workshop can then
be followed by smaller group workshops to tackle planning,
risk definition, stakeholder mapping, contract management
and estimating.
