The APM Introductory Certificate in Project Management offers a fundamental awareness of project management terminology and is for those wishing to gain a broad understanding of the principles of the profession. The qualification is designed for anyone looking to start a successful career in project management or those wanting to understand the principles of project management excellence.
Successful candidates will be able to understand the language of project management and the structure of a successful project. They will be able to take an active part in a project team and make a positive contribution to any project environment. Delegates will be prepared to take the Introductory Certificate in Project Management at the end of this course.
A mixture of lectures and exercises are used in an interactive manner to ensure delegates gain a firm understanding of the topics required. At the end of the second day candidates will sit the forty five minute, multi-choice, examination.
