Delivery – predictable and efficient delivery of the outputs and required outcomes – is the heart of project management. When the necessary skills and experience are not easily available in the organisation; when things have gone wrong, we provide resources, with the knowledge, skills and experience, to deliver results.
In the circumstance that sponsors have lost confidence, or the project has deteriorated, we have the techniques and expertise to evaluate the root causes, identify and apply effective remedies, and rescue problem projects. In extreme cases of complete project failure we conduct ‘forensic’ examinations to establish responsibility and recommend appropriate governance action to prevent the situation re-occurring.
We establish safe and successful project environments and, where appropriate, provide interim managers to:
- Deliver projects in a portfolio where there are insufficient suitable resources
- Rescue projects and programmes that are running late, seriously over budget or delivering the wrong results
- Analyse why a project or programme has failed and help you prevent recurring failure
- Provide assurance where there is uncertainty about the internal capability to deliver results
- Get visibility on the status of projects, programmes and portfolios
- Get the right resources to deliver business critical projects or a programme
- Set up or resource an effective project and programme support office (PMO)
- Assess internal capability and/or coach for safe delivery
