Making Projects Work (MPW)

Objective
To ensure that your project managers can successfully manage a range of within-function projects or work packages, where the sources of complexity primarily arise from:

• the nature of the planning required to ensure success
• uncertainty in the project/product requirement resource
• contention within the business.

Approach
At this level, your project managers need to widen their 'bandwidth' of project experiences to enable them to run projects with differing performance drivers. The programme is based on case work that will challenge your managers, while developing a deep understanding of how projects should be planned and monitored to best deliver benefits to your business.
